 The 26th Annual Triangle Heart Ball is the premier social event in the Triangle, that supports the American Heart Association’s mission related activities. Easter Seals UCP 4th annual ‘Ride Without Limits’ Sept 18-19

Easter Seals UCP (United Cerebral Palsy) is gearing up for its 4th annual Ride Without Limits two-day cycling event from September 18 – 19th. This annual fundraiser benefits critical programs and services for children and adults with disabilities and reflects Easter Seals UCP’s mission by including riders of all levels and abilities.The event, which begins at Camp Kanata in Wake Forest, NC, takes cyclists through some of North Carolina’s most beautiful countryside’s. Riders can choose between a 38 mile, 64 mile, or 100 mile route.

Each entry requires a $35 registration fee and requests that each participant raise at least $250. The first 250 registrants will be provided lodging at Camp Kanata, all meals and an event t-shirt.

The Big Bad Ball – Hospice of Wake County – October 2

The 9th annual Big Bad Ball (BBB) is a gala event to benefit Hospice of Wake County and is presented by the Young Executive Members of the Capital City Club!  You can anticipate wonderful food from hor d’oeuvres to pasta and carving stations to a late night breakfast and everyone’s favorite desserts.

The 2010 Big Bad Ball will be held Saturday, October 2rd from 7pm – 1am at the Capital City Club in Raleigh. This black tie event is open to the entire community and the cost is $125 per person. Horse and Buddy Fundraiser Durham Nov 13 at 7 pm

Saturday, November 13, 2010: Blue Moon’s 5th Annual Fundraiser Hafla! The Solution Center, Brighton Hall, 1101 Slater Road, Durham. Doors open at 7:00 PM; hafla starts at 7:30 PM. This year’s fundraiser will benefit Horse and Buddy, a program that enriches the lives of people with special needs in Wake county and surrounding areas through therapeutic horseback riding. For more information about Horse and Buddy, please visit its website at http://www.horseandbuddy.org/ Join Blue Moon for an old fashioned hafla complete with open dancing, great live music, yummy food, and spontaneous performances! Admission is a $5 per guest (ages 5 and up). Children under the age of 5 are free. (Children attending must be under their parents’/guardians’ personal supervision at all times. Blue Moon does not have provisions for monitoring children.) Please bring a dish to share; Blue Moon will provide the beverages and paper goods. If you do wish to perform at the hafla, send an email to bluemoonbellydance@ gmail.com telling us you would like to perform. Then just bring your music along with you that evening and dance away! No refunds given unless event is canceled; registrations are transferable to another person. Please notify Blue Moon if this occurs. Blue Moon Dance Company reserves the right to refuse admission to the hafla at their discretion. No tickets will be issued; guests’ names will be on a check-in sheet at the event. Feel free to bring a copy of your PayPal receipt and/or email confirmation of registration to the hafla as proof of payment. Please note that no alcohol is permitted on the premises.
