A Winter’s Tale

Methodist Home for Children will be hosting its 13th annual charity gala, “A Winter’s Tale,” at the Raleigh Convention Center.  An evening that benefits Methodist Home for Children, this black tie affair will honor individuals and organizations committed to children, youth and families and will feature a live and silent auction, an elegant dinner, dancing and a keynote address by celebrated sports writer, Don Yaeger.  Matt Holiday will be the auctioneer for the evening.

With 16 books to his credit, including four that made the New York Times best-seller list, Don Yeager has spent his career writing about our generation’s most celebrated athletes.  As a former Sports Illustrated associate editor, Don has witnessed the personal and professional struggles of many famous athletes, and he knows how faith and perseverance can overcome adversity and lead to greatness.
